FREE SHIPPING POLICY LIMITS

We provide free shipping for all orders over $99 with destinations east of the Mississippi, except for shipments going to Alaska or Hawaii and shipments going to islands without connecting roads to the mainland.

Shipping for destinations west of the Mississippi is automatically included in the shopping cart. If you’d like to send your order to Alaska, Hawaii, or an unconnected island, let us know exactly what your order will consist of and where you want to send it, and we will be glad to provide you with a shipping quote.

If your order is for a small number of posts or anything else said to involve possible shipping charges, call ahead (508-888-8305) to determine whether there will be a shipping charge, and if so how much the charge will be.

We will also send orders to Canada and other international destinations (including APO, FPO, and DPO destinations), and you may contact us for a quote.

DELIVERY

Orders generally ship within 48 hours of receipt except on weekends. This time may be longer during our peak season in March-May. All of our products ship from Pennsylvania. Depending on the distance involved, you should receive them in one to six business days from the time they leave the warehouse.

CARRIERS AND SPECIAL SERVICES

We use FedEx ground, UPS ground, UPS Freight, and other services. Orders will be sent by the most economical class of carrier. If you want a particular type of carrier (for example, FedEx ground or UPS ground rather than a freight carrier) or a particular service (lift-gate, delivery by a particular kind of truck, etc.) we will do our best to accommodate you, but you will be charged for any extra costs. FREIGHT SHIPMENTS

If your item is shipped by freight to a residential address, the freight company will contact you to determine timing of the delivery. Someone must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment. The receiving person will also be responsible for unloading the shipment from the truck. Freight carriers do not unload the product or provide free lift-gate services. However, our orders are packed in easily managed bundles, making them easy to break apart and unload.

RETURNS

PLEASE DO NOT RETURN ANY MERCHANDISE TO OUR MASSACHUSETTS ADDRESS!If you find a product simply does not meet your needs, you may return it in new condition, suitable for sale to another customer, within 30 days of purchase. Shipping charges for making this return are the customer’s responsibility, and a 10% restocking fee (minimum fee $10.00) will be deducted from your refund. Please email us at returns to McGregor Fence Company or call our Massachusetts office at 508-888-8305 to receive return instructions, including:

  • Your Return Authorization number
  • The address where the merchandise should be returned
  • Other return information

Failure to follow this procedure may jeopardize your refund.

DAMAGED GOODS

If something is damaged in shipping, that is the responsibility of the transportation company, and a claim for damages needs to be filed by our warehouse. This must be done within 15 days of delivery. Therefore, please notify us at once if an article arrives damaged–for two reasons: so that we can provide you with a replacement and so that we can file a claim with the shipper and reimburse you for the loss.

DEFECTS

Should any product you purchase from us prove defective, please contact us within 15 days of your invoice date so that we can confirm your problem and arrange for an exchange, replacement, or refund.

CONSULTATION

In general, if you have any problem with your deer control measures, please call or Email us and we will try to help. If the difficulty involves one of our products, we will do our best to work things out with you. We do have a lot of useful experience, and we’re realistic about our products’ practical abilities.
