Use these braces to strengthen two 1-3/8-inch end or gate posts on a 6-foot cat fence to protect against snow loads and falling tree branches, and also to provide bracing for long runs of fencing. Use 1 brace per end and 2 per gate. The brace arm should be installed in a cement footing or else should have its end placed against a cinder blocks or something comparable. That’s so that in the event of a strong pull upon the fence this brace arm will not move. Attachment hardware included.
